Full Job Description

The Functional Family Therapist/Clinician provides intensive home based family therapy services including strength-based assessments, treatment planning and coordination, family treatment, and discharge planning and intervention work with client support systems. Our program is built on the belief that meaningful change happens within the environments where families live their daily lives. Through regular home visits, clinicians provide relationship-based services that meet children and families where they feel most comfortable-delivering impactful, family-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

Uses evidence-based treatment modalities and assessment tools to complete comprehensive assessment and treatment plans for youth in care.
Establishes medical necessity for Core and CFTSS services.
Provides skill building (case management) services to meet Core requirements
Implements clinical treatment plans by facilitating trauma-informed individual and/or family counseling sessions, and therapeutic groups with all youth and/or families as required by agency policies, protocols and procedures.
Provides CFTSS services according to treatment needs.
Assisting children/youth in developing skills as defined on treatment goals
Providing psychiatric supports to youth and families.
Willingness to work in a Community Based position.

Job Requirements

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field that qualifies for Licensure or Limited Permit eligibility is required. LCSW strongly preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or a residential setting working with at-risk youth is Preferred.
Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency.
Ability to work effectively with economically and culturally diverse populations.
Capacity to engage with individuals experiencing emotional and psychological challenges.

Salary & Schedule

Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule; some evening hours are expected.
$67,500 - 76,000 annually; commensurate on experience.
