Full Job Description

Production Manager
Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Location: Milton, NY
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all aspects of production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Supervise production staff, providing clear directions, support, and motivation to foster a high-performance environment.
Implement and monitor safety procedures to maintain a secure workplace for all team members.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot issues and refine manufacturing processes.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data for process improvements, and report on production metrics regularly.
Manage inventory levels, raw materials, and equipment maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions.
Manage the processes and personnel involved in manufacturing, activities focused on guaranteeing an agile process that ensures the safety of people, the proper functioning of the machinery, and that the articles comply with quality standards.
Oversee, manage and organize the work team, resources and processes in a manufacturing plant. Schedule routine activities, delegate tasks, and will be responsible for quickly and efficiently resolving any unexpected situation(s) that threaten to slow down the workflow.

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, safety standards, and process optimization.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and foster collaboration.
Proficiency in manufacturing software systems and data analysis tools.
Ability to communicate clearly across departments, resolve conflicts effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Requirements

5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or any related occupation
5 years of experience with high-speed manufacturing in the beverage industry
3 years of supervisory experience
