Full Job Description

Worthington Christian Village is a great place to work offering a total ministry to the senior adults of Central Ohio. We are currently looking for a Marketing & Admissions Director. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring some in office time as well as every other weekend on-call availability. Schedule can be discussed during interview.

Classification: Full-time Salaried Exempt

Department Head

Reports to the Administrator, Executive Director & Administrator, Tara Arnett

Description: This person will oversee all aspects of the marketing/admissions of Worthington Christian Village. This will include developing and implementing a total marketing strategy for the Independent Living Apartments and Cottages, Assisted Living (Residential Care), and Health Care Center admissions. The main goal is to work toward 100% occupancy in all areas.

Marketing Duties

¨ Develop a digital marketing presence for all levels of care

¨ Coordinate with Marketing & Admissions staff a good system of communication on Assisted Living and Independent Living tours.

¨ Manage Marketing team

¨ Work with Environmental services to ensure rooms are ready to tour and have a tour plan prepared for back up tour team

¨ Visit hospitals, senior centers, home health and community organizations to promote Worthington Christian Village in person

¨ Develop a testimonial process for short term rehab guests, long term care, Assisted Living and Independent living residents to share with potential residents.

¨ Provide feedback on tour readiness of our community from the parking lot to the bedside to assist us in seeing things we tend to overlook.

¨ Ensure financial approval is completed for Independent and Assisted Living Residents

¨ Communicate needed medical paperwork for Independent, Assisted Living and Health Care Center admissions

¨ Plan and assist in special events as needed. Work with Activities to ensure moments are captured in pictures and consent is obtained to use those pictures in marketing Worthington Christian Village

¨ Maintain supplies of current marketing materials and update as needed

HCC Admission Duties

¨ Review health care referrals and send to the team to evaluate for financial and clinical acceptance. Be clear on time frame of response.

¨ Develop and manage a good system of communication with the admissions team on health care referrals and the process.

¨ Schedule tours for the Health Care Center and utilize back up tour team as needed.

¨ Use Red, Yellow, Green admission guideline to ensure a quicker response to inquiries.

Resident Ambassador

¨ Oversee the move-in process of all new residents including distributing welcome packets/baskets, keys etc. as well as coordinating the in-house moves

¨ Follow-up with new residents and keep good lines of communication open with all residents

¨ Ensure a member of the marketing team attends resident council meetings

General Expectations

¨ Work within the current budget parameters and give input in determining the next year’s budget

¨ Maintain an accurate record of hours worked and enter into the ADP payroll system every pay period.

¨ The hours are flexible hybrid with in office required as discussed with department head.

¨ The list of responsibilities is not meant to be exclusive. Additional duties may be assigned by the Administrator of the Executive Director from time to time

¨ Probationary Period: All positions at Worthington Christian Village are subject to a 90-day review.
