Canine Coach / Playroom Attendant
Dogtopia of Prairieville
Part-Time | Morning & Afternoon Shifts Available
Starting Pay: $10/hour
Do you love dogs enough to love ALL of them?
The zoomies. The cuddles. The slobbery kisses. The barking. The muddy paws. The poop. Yes, even the poop.
If you genuinely love dogs, have a strong work ethic, and want to be part of a team dedicated to giving dogs their Most Exciting Day Ever, we want to meet you!
At Dogtopia of Prairieville, our Canine Coaches are the heart of our playrooms. This is not simply a job where you get to play with dogs—it is a position of responsibility, awareness, and trust. As a Canine Coach, you will:
- Supervise groups of dogs during open-play daycare and ensure their safety at all times.
- Continuously monitor dog behavior, body language, energy levels, and interactions.
- Recognize signs of stress, overstimulation, conflict, illness, or injury and respond appropriately.
- Help maintain appropriate playgroup dynamics and intervene when necessary.
- Keep playrooms clean, sanitary, organized, and safe throughout the day.
- Pick up poop—and lots of it!
- Clean and disinfect playrooms, crates, floors, equipment, and other areas according to Dogtopia standards.
- Refresh water and help ensure dogs have access to a clean and comfortable environment.
- Participate in feeding, rest periods, enrichment activities, and other daily care routines.
- Follow all Dogtopia safety, cleaning, handling, and operational procedures.
- Communicate observations about individual dogs to leadership and other team members.
- Assist with opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
- Work as part of a team to maintain an exceptional experience for both dogs and their parents.
- Help uphold Dogtopia's highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and care every single day.
