Job Description

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to expert and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll play a key role in supporting Food & Beverage leadership, improving accuracy and efficiency, and helping teams succeed through training and strong processes. With a mix of hands-on involvement, problem-solving, and leadership opportunity, this position offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact on guest experience and daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Train and orient new and existing FOH staff on Job Instructions and all Point-of-Sale (POS) system procedures.
Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to review POS error reports and ensure accuracy.
Verify, post, and maintain invoices and records within the POS system.
Participate in Food & Beverage meetings, providing updates and insights related to POS operations.
Review and investigate discrepancies in Retail and POS statistical data.
Help prepare and maintain Job Instructions for all POS-related processes.
Support the Food & Beverage Director in reviewing P&L statements and general ledger postings for accuracy.
Train Food & Beverage staff to strengthen guest service and operational excellence.
Oversee Food & Beverage production when the Director is absent.
Assist with shift coverage when needed to support guest service and department operations.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy.
Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service.
Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary.
Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier.
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Must possess strong organizational skills.
Must have an energetic personality.
Must have Food Handlers Certificate.
Must attend alcohol training class and obtain a TIPS/Alcohol certification.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:

Prefer an Associate's Degree.
Prefer Professional Culinary Degree or an equivalent combination of culinary training and/or experience.
Prefer at least two (2) years of serving experience.
Prefer knowledge of inventory control and ordering.
Prefer prior supervisory experience.

Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $41,812-$55,610.
