FlexTrades is seeking a highly skilled MIG Welder/Fitter who thrives in a custom fabrication environment. This is not a repetitive production welding role. Every project is different, requiring creativity, technical expertise, layout and fitting skills, and the ability to think critically through complex weldments.

Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and fitting on custom aluminum, galvanized steel, and mild steel fabrications.
- Read blueprints and 3D models to layout, assemble, and weld one-off projects.
- Measure, fit, and position parts to meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Use hand tools, grinders, overhead cranes, and hoists to fabricate and move materials.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, appearance, and structural integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience with MIG welding and fitting in a custom fabrication environment.
- Required experience welding galvanized steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate measurements and layout work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of weld sequence, fit-up, and distortion control.
- Experience welding tube-to-tube and tube-to-plate assemblies.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for quality and productivity.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $30//hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
