Full Job Description

About the Role

Slice is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and technically capable Project Manager to work directly with our Chief Technology Officer.

This is a unique hybrid position for someone who enjoys managing technology projects, coordinating across teams, improving processes, and helping an executive stay organized and focused. You will play an important role in moving our AI, Salesforce, and business systems initiatives forward while also providing day-to-day operational support to the CTO.

The right person does not need to be a software developer, but they should be comfortable working with technical teams, learning new platforms, asking the right questions, and translating ideas into clear tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

This role is ideal for someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and willing to take ownership of whatever is needed to keep projects and priorities moving.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI and Technology Project Management

Manage multiple AI, automation, Salesforce, and internal systems projects from planning through completion.
Turn ideas and business requirements into organized project plans, milestones, tasks, and timelines.
Coordinate work between internal employees, developers, administrators, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Schedule and lead project meetings, document decisions, and track follow-up items.
Monitor deadlines, dependencies, risks, and unresolved issues.
Regularly provide the CTO with clear updates on project status, priorities, and roadblocks.
Help evaluate and implement AI tools, automation platforms, and other emerging technologies.
Coordinate testing, feedback, documentation, training, and rollout activities for new systems.
Ensure projects do not stall because of unclear ownership, missing information, or lack of follow-up.

Salesforce and Business Systems Coordination

Help organize and prioritize Salesforce enhancements, support requests, and system-related projects.
Work with Salesforce administrators and other technical team members to define requirements and track progress.
Coordinate projects involving platforms such as Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Make, Amazon Web Services, and other systems used by the company.
Maintain project boards, system documentation, process guides, and internal knowledge resources.
Identify inefficient or repetitive processes that may be improved through automation.
Assist with user acceptance testing and confirm that completed work meets the original business requirements.
Help coordinate system access, vendor communication, software renewals, and technology-related administrative tasks.

Executive and Operational Support

Help the CTO organize and prioritize projects, meetings, requests, and daily responsibilities.
Manage and maintain the CTO’s calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating meetings.
Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and follow up with participants on assigned action items.
Organize information, documents, reminders, and communications so important items are not missed.
Help screen incoming requests and determine which items require the CTO’s direct attention.
Coordinate with employees, vendors, partners, and executives on behalf of the CTO when appropriate.
Assist with occasional office-related tasks and other day-to-day responsibilities that help the CTO and technology department operate efficiently.
Handle sensitive company and executive information with professionalism and discretion.

High level of discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing software, IT, Salesforce, AI, automation, or digital transformation projects.
Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Jira, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
Familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation, or platforms such as Make, n8n, or similar systems.
Experience supporting a CTO, technology executive, founder, or senior business leader.
Experience working in a fast-moving company where priorities and responsibilities can evolve.
Project management certifications are helpful but not required.

The CTO has a clear and organized view of current projects, priorities, meetings, and responsibilities.
AI and technology projects have defined owners, deadlines, next steps, and regular status updates.
Meetings result in documented decisions and completed follow-up actions.
Employees and vendors receive the information and direction they need without unnecessary delays.
Important requests do not get lost, forgotten, or left without an owner.
Projects move from ideas to implementation more quickly and predictably.
The technology department becomes more organized, efficient, and proactive.

The Ideal Personality

You may be a great fit for this role if you naturally create order from chaos, enjoy checking items off a list, and are usually the person who remembers what everyone agreed to do.

You should be equally comfortable discussing an AI implementation with a technical team, organizing a Salesforce project, coordinating an executive meeting, and taking care of a small but important office task without feeling that it is outside your responsibility.

This is a hands-on role with significant visibility and the opportunity to become a trusted partner to the CTO and an important part of the company’s technology and operations team.
