Full Job Description

Inside Sales Rep

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Inside Sales Rep to support the GM/Sales Manager with day-to-day activities. Candidate must be fully engaged, enthusiastic and powered to make a difference in growing this Mgo business to the next level.

Job Functions

· Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product information, inventory availability, freight, shipment scheduling, tracking, and delivery coordination (collectively defined as “shipping details”)

· Enter orders in Metalware and send acknowledgement to Sales Manager and customer as required.

· Coordinate and incorporate initial freight costs into sales, including managing warehouse pick-ups and customer deliveries. Once a sale is initiated on our side, it will be transitioned for execution or handled locally.

· Send pickup orders to outside warehouses.

· Coordinate the collection of payment for pre-paid accounts or assist in collecting documents for new accounts to forward to the credit manager for processing.

· Advise credit manager in advance of new customer account set-up to ensure timely payment and delivery schedules are met.

· Answer incoming phone calls and collect contact and project info, forward to the Sales Manager and as needed.

· Monitor company emails from the website and forward, follow up as needed.

· Prepare Quotes, including freight.

· Gain an understanding of all existing products to provide proper support.

· Manage credit applications and follow ups with the credit dept.

· Send out samples and product literature, via email, (attachments) USPS or 1–3-day courier service, as required.

· Regularly review Dodge / Construct Connect, (or similar) email, Web site / Hub Spot or similar systems searching for job leads.

· Report to the National Sales Manager any new (pertinent) information as necessary.

· Assist with marketing efforts, provide feedback on marketing materials and support lead-generation initiatives, up to and including (in) direct participation in local, regional or national trade shows.

· Coordinate freight claims, return requests and special-order situations.

· Assist with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferred

· Excellent communication skills

· 3 years of construction related experience

· CRM, SFMO, HubSpot or similar for data entry, job tracking software experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word)

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Energetic, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in marketing, retail, customer service, or sales is a huge plus, but not required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
