Full Job Description

Location: Warren/Hunterdon/Somerset Counties

Job Type/Status: Monday - Friday, 40 total hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning and implementing programs in schools and communities.
Establish alliances with organizations which have similar or allied goals, such as, school board, local law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centers and service providers.
Serve as a customer service role model to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all participants in the schools and community.
Provide supervision to a team of prevention specialists who will provide training and workshops to the community and youth.
Implement evidence-based prevention services and curricula with fidelity.

Requirements:

Experience working with and empowering at-risk youth and marginalized communities by conducting prevention education (e.g., substance abuse, pregnancy prevention, mental health, and well-being sessions, etc.) activities.
Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, public administration, social work, etc.) required.
Experience in community organizing, developing community partnerships, implementing evidence-based programs and project management.
Minimum five years of experience working in a social service environment implementing evidence-based practice models; three (3) years of which shall be in a supervisory capacity.
Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record.
Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.
