Overview
A loving family in Prosper is seeking an experienced, proactive Nanny and Household Manager to support their two young children, while helping their household run smoothly. While excellent childcare is at the heart of this role, it is equally about partnership. The ideal candidate enjoys taking initiative, anticipating needs, and helping create greater organization, consistency, and ease for a family that truly values those who walk alongside them. The family is looking for someone who can step in confidently, become a trusted and consistent part of their village, and build a long term relationship with their household.
Their daughter is six years old and attends school. She loves tumbling, gymnastics, dancing, crafts, puzzles, imaginative play, reading, and active movement. She is curious, bright, and deeply thoughtful. Like many children, she can be slow to warm in new situations and benefits from structure, predictability, and opportunities to decompress after busy days. At times she may experience anxiety or become overwhelmed by sensory input, and she thrives with patient, calm caregivers who are attuned, emotionally responsive, and able to provide gentle consistency.
Their son is two years old and attends daycare full time. He loves music, playing instruments, reading, outdoor play, puzzles, building activities, and having responsibilities, such as feeding the family dog and helping with simple household routines.
The family practices a respectful, relationship based parenting approach. They believe children benefit from clear boundaries, consistency, emotional validation, natural consequences, and age appropriate expectations. They do not use physical punishment or shame based discipline, and appreciate caregivers who can remain calm during challenging moments. Helping children identify and express emotions, model appropriate behavior, and redirect when needed flows well for the family.
