School Nurse (RN) – Onsite

West Richland, WA | Elementary School

E-Therapy, powered by Edustaff, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse (RN) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in West Richland, Washington.

This onsite opportunity is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working closely with students and school staff while providing specialized care in a supportive elementary school environment.

Position Details

Location: West Richland, WA
Position Type: Onsite
School Setting: Elementary School
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Follows the student school calendar

About the Position

This position will provide nursing services for two elementary students who require the presence of a school nurse while they are on campus. An Educational Staff Associate (ESA) will provide nursing oversight for the building, allowing this role to focus primarily on supporting the medical needs of these two students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and monitoring for two medically supported elementary students.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to medical needs.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and the district ESA.
Promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
Follow district, state, and federal health regulations.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Previous pediatric, school nursing, or medically fragile student experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff and families
CPR/BLS certification preferred
