Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Grill Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. Your energetic approach to food preparation, combined with your culinary expertise, will ensure that every plate served meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
Follow established recipes and menu specifications while adding your own culinary flair to enhance flavor profiles.
Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new grilled items and seasonal specials that excite our guests.
Manage food prep stations efficiently, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for optimal flavor.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, fryers, knives, and other culinary tools.
Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for service.
Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional food service during busy hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
Uphold cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled dishes as needed.
Participate in ongoing training on food safety practices and new culinary techniques to continually improve skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within fine dining or restaurant settings.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including grilling methods and knife skills.
Experience working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus.
Familiarity with menu planning, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Prior experience in catering or large-scale food service is advantageous.
