Full Job Description

All American Assisted Living at Warwick is looking for both 2nd and 3rd Shift CMTs, part time hours.

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate CMTs (Certified Medication Technician) for our 2nd and 3rd Shift teams. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our residents in a nursing home or senior care environment. This position involves administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dosage instructions.
Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff.
Maintain up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Assist with daily living activities for residents, providing support in a respectful and dignified manner.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Participate in training sessions and continuing education to stay current with best practices in medication administration and senior care.
Ensure cleanliness and safety within the work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a nursing home, medical office, or home care setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical documentation systems and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques and practices.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and privacy.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in providing quality care to seniors.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Must hold a CMT license Valid in RI
