Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business functions across our retail locations. This energetic role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for team leadership, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee store performance, manage staff, and ensure seamless execution of all retail processes to drive growth and operational efficiency. Your leadership will inspire teams, streamline workflows, and uphold the highest standards of service.

Duties

Lead and supervise store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service to ensure a vibrant shopping environment
Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while fostering employee orientation and training programs to develop talent
Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
Oversee purchasing decisions, inventory management, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize store profitability
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance brand visibility
Supervise shift management, cashiering operations, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and customer interactions to ensure smooth daily operations
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching on management skills, and promote a positive team culture focused on leadership development
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures while ensuring excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills

Skills

Strong negotiation abilities combined with excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and vendor relations
Extensive experience in retail management with a focus on sales management, merchandising, and inventory control
Proven track record in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, including assistant manager experience preferred
Multilingual or bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, cash handling, POS systems, and retail math
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities such as stock stocking and marketing initiatives
Demonstrated supervisory experience in retail sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence
Leadership qualities that foster team motivation while maintaining high standards of store presentation and sales performance
Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required
