Full Job Description

Atlantic Beverage Distributors has been family owned and operated since it was founded in 1995. We proudly provide our customers with the best selections of craft beer, wine, spirits, grab and go no alcohol beverages such as water, energy drinks, craft sodas and sweet and salty snacks to accompany their beverage of choice.

With a footprint in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, we continue to grow as an organization. We are looking to expand our Atlantic family and hire a Graphic Designer and Production Artist. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in Graphic Design/Production in all principles defined below.

Job Responsibilities:

· Monitor and update electronic tracking system for marketing department job requests, prioritizing work based on business need.

· Create designs for promotional initiatives: direct mailers, in-store signage such as shelf talkers, posters, large format window clings, end-cap displays; restaurant, bar, and event venue promotional banners, drink menus, table tents; sell sheets and one-page reference guides for sales reps; social media post images, website banners, email newsletter image assets, and specialized requests as needed.

· Consistently implement best-practice graphic design principles for imagery, typography, and layout, adhering to brand guidelines where applicable.

· Work closely with management and sales team to ensure job requests exceed expectations.

· Proofread all work during the editing process using available tools including but not limited to the department’s editorial checklist, job request cover sheet, etc. to ensure all details are accounted for with precision and accuracy.

· Prepare all files for production using graphic design best-practices for pre-flight and release of print production (bleeds, trim, crop marks, die lines, etc.) and online marketing jobs (web optimization, file compression, etc.)

· Develop and maintain templates for standardized jobs.

· Maintain a library of current high-resolution images of products, logos and brand partner photography.

· Have a strong understanding of print production processes and timelines.

· Print, cut, and kit small print production jobs in-house for meetings and specialized company initiatives.

· Ensure all jobs produced internally and externally meet print production specifications and quality standards.

· Ensure adequate levels of standard marketing collateral (shelf talkers, sell sheets) are available on a weekly basis. Proactively reprint as needed.

· Be innovative with ideas to drive company growth and brand recognition.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skillset:

· Advanced knowledge and daily use of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro.

· Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extreme attention to detail.

· Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and reprioritize workload with multiple projects in process at once to ensure all deadlines are met.

· Ability to process constructive feedback and collaborate with team members.

· Motivated and resourceful self-starter with a can-do attitude.

· Experience in Food and Beverage industry a plus.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:30pm

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
