Full Job Description

Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI is actively hiring an RN Program Manager for the Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart department. Reporting to the ambulatory director, you will be responsible for the planning, direction and operation of the administrative and clinical aspects of patient coordination. This is a Mon-Fri, flexible shift position offering an annual salary range of $90,334.40-$180,689.60.

Responsibilities: 

In collaboration with the MD and Advanced Practice Provider (APPs), provide direction impacting patient care including screening, education, and coordination of care from initial visit to procedural recovery and discharge
Provide leadership in the development, validation, and evaluation of standards, policies, and procedures to support the patient care delivery model, managing clinical education plans from strategic concept development to implementation and execution
Act as a liaison between the hospital, Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart Clinic, and other aspects of the Cardiovascular Institute, working with the Medical Directors and CVI leadership to develop, implement and track relevant quality outcome and patient satisfaction metrics
Review patient history and relevant clinical data to facilitate optimum care, communicating the plan of care and other information to/from other healthcare providers and effectively educating patients and/or family members about procedures
Directly manage ambulatory RNs within the practice to ensure clinical quality and regulatory compliance and perform follow-up support to patients, physicians, and APPs

Qualifications: 

Current RI RN license required
BSN required; MSN preferred
5+ years of related experience in management/administration of physician practice or hospital outpatient department
