Job Summary
The Content Marketing Strategist is a strategic and creative marketing professional responsible for developing compelling content and visual communications that clearly articulate our value proposition across multiple channels. This role plays a critical part in supporting brand awareness, sales enablement, and client engagement through the creation of high-quality presentations, marketing collateral, social media content, website content, and thought leadership materials.
Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams, this individual will transform complex healthcare and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) concepts into clear, engaging, and visually impactful content that differentiates our organization in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute content that supports marketing, sales, and business development objectives
- Translate complex healthcare and PBM concepts into clear, compelling, and audience-focused messaging
- Create and maintain messaging frameworks, value propositions, and positioning statements
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all channels and materials
- Presentation Development & Sales Enablement
- Create executive-level presentations for prospective clients, consultants, brokers, and industry events
- Develop sales presentations, finalist presentations, pitch decks, and client-facing materials
- Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to communicate key differentiators and value drivers
- Design visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate business impact and outcomes
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and manage content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Create blog posts, thought leadership articles, email campaigns, and website content
- Support content calendars and campaign execution across digital channels
- Monitor content performance and recommend optimization strategies
Marketing Materials & Graphic Design
- Develop and manage a wide range of marketing and sales collateral, including:
- One-pagers
- Product sheets
- Case studies
- Infographics
- Brochures
- Presentation templates
- Sales enablement materials
- Event and conference materials
- Ensure all materials align with brand standards and visual identity guidelines
- Create visually compelling designs that enhance communication and engagement
Marketing Operations & HubSpot Management
- Utilize HubSpot to support content distribution, campaign execution, lead nurturing, and reporting
- Maintain and optimize marketing assets, landing pages, forms, and email templates
- Track content performance and marketing engagement metrics
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to support pipeline growth initiatives
Content Library & Knowledge Management
- Maintain centralized content and marketing asset libraries
- Manage presentation, collateral, and social media content repositories
- Ensure content remains current, relevant, and aligned with market trends
- Identify opportunities to repurpose and maximize content across channels
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze content performance and engagement metrics
- Gather feedback from Sales, Account Management, and leadership teams
- Recommend improvements to messaging, design, and content strategy
- Stay informed on healthcare, PBM, and marketing industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, marketing strategy, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare, PBM, insurance, benefits consulting, or a related industry strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive, and audience-focused content
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including presentation design and executive-level storytelling
- Strong graphic design skills with experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, Figma, or similar design tools
- Experience developing marketing collateral, presentations, social media content, blogs, and digital assets
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including email marketing, landing pages, workflows, reporting, and CRM integration
- Strong understanding of content marketing, brand positioning, and demand generation principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate across departments
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and brand standards
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing platforms preferred
- Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and social media best practices preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field preferred
Travel
Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, team offsites, or industry events
Shift Details
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during “core” work hours to meet the needs of our business. Extended hours, weekends and holidays may be required pursuant with industry and client demands.
