Full Job Description

Job Overview
The Dishwasher/ Shopper/ Prep Cook plays an essential role in maintaining the efficiency, cleanliness, and organization of our kitchen operations. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen tools, utensils, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Additionally, this role supports the Aviation Department by assisting with shopping and order deliveries, as well as lending a hand preparing simple orders as needed, with guidance from the closer.

Duties

Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Maintain the cleanliness of vent filters and drains.
Assist with trash and recycling removal, ensuring proper waste management procedures are followed.
Support kitchen staff with basic prep work or cleaning duties as directed by the chef or manager.
Perform shopping, errands, and deliveries for the Aviation Department using company vehicle and credit card.
Handle all food, equipment, and products with care to maintain quality and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude when working with all departments.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately to management.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
Basic understanding of food handling safety regulations
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be over 21

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
