Position Overview
Launch Fulfillment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee the Company’s accounting and financial operations across multiple entities, with primary responsibility for U.S. accounting activities and financial coordination related to the Company’s UK operations. This role manages day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting support, cash flow visibility, internal controls, and audit and tax coordination, while partnering closely with the CFO and other business leaders.
This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening accounting processes, improving financial visibility, and supporting informed business decision-making across the organization. The Corporate Controller will also serve as the primary internal finance liaison for UK-related financial matters, coordinating with the Company’s UK accounting partners and supporting multi-entity financial alignment. International accounting experience and familiarity with IFRS are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll-related accounting, and invoicing oversight
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and/or review monthly financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company requirements and applicable accounting standards
- Produce financial reporting packages for leadership, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reporting, and variance analysis
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records and accounting documentation
- Partner with the CFO and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management/reporting
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and help develop recommendations for process improvement, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Establish, maintain, and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes to support accuracy, compliance, and protection of company assets
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional partners in connection with annual audits, tax filings, and financial reporting support
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements for U.S. operations
- Serve as the primary internal finance liaison between U.S. leadership and the Company’s UK accounting support partners
- Support financial oversight of UK operations, including coordination of reporting, reconciliations, close activities, and related accounting matters in partnership with the Company’s UK accounting advisors
- Partner with external UK accounting advisors to support timely financial reporting, compliance, and alignment with broader company reporting requirements
- Support multi-entity accounting and reporting activities, including intercompany transactions, consolidated financial reporting support, and cross-entity financial communication as needed
- Maintain and optimize accounting processes and financial workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Utilize and help improve reporting and accounting systems, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved financial visibility across the business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and administrative teams to support sound financial practices and informed decision-making
- Provide guidance, oversight, and support to accounting staff or team members involved in accounting and finance processes, as applicable
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger oversight
- Prior experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or comparable senior-level accounting role required
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
- Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and/or outsourced accounting partners
- Experience in a multi-entity, international, or cross-border accounting environment preferred
- Familiarity with UK accounting practices and IFRS strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, fulfillment, supply chain, or other operationally intensive environments is a plus
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification preferred
