Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates and answering questions.
Obtain and organize medical records, bills, wage loss documentation, and other supporting evidence.
Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients regarding claim status and documentation.
Review medical treatment progress and identify gaps in treatment or documentation.
Draft correspondence, demand packages, and settlement-related documents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files within the firm's case management system.
Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of all case-related tasks.
Assist attorneys with case evaluations and settlement negotiations.
Coordinate lien reductions and settlement disbursements when necessary.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through responsive communication and professionalism.

QualificationsRequired

2+ years of experience in personal injury case management, legal assistant, or paralegal work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a large caseload.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Experience working in a personal injury law firm.
Familiarity with medical records, billing, and insurance claims.
Experience using case management software such as Clio, Filevine, SmartAdvocate, or similar platforms.
Spanish-speaking

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
