What You'll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you'll operate advanced CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components that meet the exacting standards of our customers and the industries we serve.
You'll be responsible for producing quality parts safely, efficiently, and accurately while working alongside experienced manufacturing professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesCNC Machine Operation
- Operate CNC milling and turning equipment to produce precision machined components
- Load materials, tooling, and fixtures for production
- Verify machine setup information and program requirements
- Monitor machine performance throughout production
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
Quality & Inspection
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
- Identify and report tooling, material, or machining issues before they impact production
- Maintain accurate production documentation
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and fellow team members
- Support a positive, team-focused manufacturing environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
We're seeking dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with precision equipment and take pride in producing exceptional work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, measurements, and basic geometry
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read work instructions and basic technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to operate and monitor CNC machinery
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within a precision manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CNC Certification or at least 1 year of CNC machining experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and hands-on experience will be considered
Work Environment
This position is performed in an active manufacturing facility using advanced CNC machining equipment.
You'll work with precision machinery, tooling, metal materials, and manufacturing equipment while following established safety procedures and quality standards.
Because safety is our highest priority, this position requires:
- Successful completion of a 10-Panel Drug Screen
- Successful completion of a Federal Background Check
- Ability to safely perform work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and use of hands
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
