STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Every Grow Tech is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of his or her shift, within the company policy. The primary purpose of the position is to complete daily tasks at the Three Rivers’ Cultivation Facility under the supervision and guidance of the Grow Manager, which include, but are not limited to watering, mixing nutrients, spraying, potting, cloning, trimming, cleaning, taking out trash, harvesting, joint packing, and manicuring plants.

- Maintains proper appearance, according to the Dress Code Policy.
- Demonstrates Cannabis growing knowledge and a willingness to learn, and seeks out assistance from coworkers and/or management when necessary.
- Follows grow processes and SOPs at all times.
- Responsible for carrying out tasks assigned by the Grow Manager or any other supervisor.
- Conducts property walkthroughs during downtime to check for trash or anything that needs to be straightened up around the grow.
- Utilizes available training programs with an emphasis on ongoing training.
- Promotes team building in the grow.

OBLIGATIONS AND REGULATIONS
•Reports prepared and ready to work at scheduled time.
•Has a valid MED occupational badge
•Accurately records hours worked.
•Attends required grow and company meetings.
•Notifies Manager before an expected absence.
•Follows appropriate state and local laws as well as company guidelines.
•Wears badge as required by law
•Disposes of “Green Waste” according to Three Rivers (and State) guidelines.
•Complies with company procedures regarding chain of custody and inventory control.
•Follows employee purchase and discount policy.
•Follows Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelines.
•Effectively carries out tasks as instructed by Cultivation Facility Management.
PERFORMANCE.
•Has a good attitude about helping, no matter what job is assigned
•Keeps inventory variation at a minimum by correctly recording harvests, double checking work, and accurately weighing product.
•Takes pride in their work
•Accepts deliveries of non-marijuana product when necessary
•Collaborates with Cultivation Facility Management in order to achieve goals set forth by Executive Management.
•Meets and exceeds all standards set forth by Three Rivers Dispensary including meeting minimum speed and quality standards for trimming, joint packing, and other assigned tasks.
GROW ENVIRONMENT
•Maintains grow cleanliness and organization
•Follows Robbery Prevention procedures and safety regulations.
•Promptly and efficiently handles emergency situations that require direct action at the grow.
•Immediately reports employee incidents or injuries.
•Performs cleaning duties and maintains cleanliness inside and outside the grow.
•Maintains correct temperature of all refrigerated products.
•Follows all applicable Health and Safety Standards, including proper product handling and food storage.
•Identifies maintenance problems and determines if they can be solved in the grow or require outside assistance
•Ensures all equipment is operational and immediately reports malfunctions.
•Maintains a positive attitude at all times and avoids interpersonal “drama”.
SAFETY
•Reads and follows all product warnings and directions
•Locates MSDS and consults it for safety information regarding the products used at the grow.
•Completely and accurately labels Metrc tags for easy future identification.
•Properly handles and completes all necessary paperwork including spray logs and waste logs.
HUMAN RESOURCES
•Demonstrates a positive attitude toward work assignments.
•Demonstrates a positive attitude with management.
•Works effectively in a team setting
•Immediately informs Management about any incidents of theft or illegal activity.
•Effectively works and communicates with other grow employees.
•Takes responsibility for learning new skills.
•Completes all grow tasks and activities as assigned by Management in a prompt, cooperative, and thorough manner.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
•Follows directions and reads warnings on all products used.
•Completes waste logs and spray logs accurately and completely
•Notifies Management about products that need to be reordered.
•Maintains a clean and tidy work environment
•Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
•Be able to perform and understand basic math.
•Have sufficient visual acuity to read labels and process paperwork and forms.
•Be able to operate the machines and tools used on the job including, sprayers, mop and mop bucket, trimming shears, brooms, grow equipment, hoses, and scales.
•Be able to lift up to 10 pounds, 40 pounds and 70 pounds several times per day, pull up to 200 pounds on occasion, push 10 pounds (mopping) several times per day.
•Be able to stand, stoop and bend 8 to 10 hours per day; be able to walk and carry several hours per day.
- Communicates courteously with vendors, subordinates, superiors, and outside contacts.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze reports.
- Operate cash registers and other electronic equipment.
- Sweep and mop floors, empty trash containers, clean restrooms and parking lot areas.
- Represent the company in neighborhood or community activities, and always be a good representative of the brand
- 1-2 years experience in a large scale cultivation environment.
- Demonstrates Cannabis growing knowledge, while maintaining a desire to learn.
- Demonstrates ability to maintain proper logs and follow company protocols and procedures.
- Possess basic analytical skills
- Demonstrates hunger to learn
- Possess basic math skills
