Join our dynamic clinical research team as a Dermatologist specializing in cutting-edge skin health investigations! In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive medical expertise and research acumen to advance dermatological science through innovative clinical trials and laboratory studies. Your passion for patient care combined with your scientific curiosity will drive the development of new treatments and therapeutic strategies, ultimately improving quality of life for patients worldwide. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate dermatological clinical trials, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations, ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and HIPAA compliance standards.
Conduct detailed patient monitoring, including assessments of skin conditions, treatment responses, and adverse events, maintaining meticulous documentation throughout the study process.
Design and implement experimental protocols involving molecular biology techniques such as tissue culture, protein purification, PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, and immunological laboratory techniques.
Perform in vivo studies using animal models to evaluate dermatological treatments' efficacy and safety.
Analyze complex research data utilizing bioinformatics tools, R, SAS, Python, and other statistical software to interpret results accurately.
Review research documentation thoroughly to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards; prepare reports for peer-reviewed publication.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research grant funding applications and contribute to the development of innovative research proposals.

Requirements

Medical degree with board certification in dermatology or related specialty; valid medical license for CA or applicable jurisdiction.
Proven experience in clinical research settings with a strong background in laboratory techniques such as cell & molecular biology research, mammalian cell culture, transfection, chromatography, Western blotting, and assays.
Familiarity with in vivo studies involving animal physiology and ethical considerations under FDA regulations.
Expertise in immunological laboratory techniques including flow cytometry and ELISA; experience with microscopy is highly desirable.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS or R; knowledge of Python for data analysis is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to review complex documentation related to clinical trials and laboratory research projects thoroughly.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality during clinical studies.
Excellent communication skills for publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals and presenting findings at scientific conferences.
Experience in research grant funding processes and academic publishing is preferred.
