Full Job Description

Paramedic – at a Remote Satellite Stations in Texas

Job Summary:

We are hiring experienced Paramedics for a 13-week Inter-Facility Transport (IFT) assignment in at a Remote Satellite Stations in Texas/Nebraska/Iowa. Housing is provided during rotations.

Schedule:

7 Days On / 7 Days Off
24-Hour Shifts (4 to 5 hours downtime depending on UHUs)
13-Week Assignment
Biweekly Pay

Compensation:

$5,551 - $6,018 per 7 days worked (Expected Weekly Gross Earnings is Broken from a Base hourly rate and an overtime rate) - Pay scale depends on the region of operations
Travel stipend $400 included in pay
Lodging provided during on rotation
No additional food, gas, or flight stipends
Opportunity to pickup overtime shifts on the OFF week rotation.

Required Skills:

Texas Paramedic License OR EMS Compact State License with NR-P
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of IFTs and 911 experience

Responsibilities:

Provide ALS care during inter-facility transports
Manage critical care patients during transport
Monitor and operate transport equipment, including ventilators and IV pumps
Complete patient care reports and documentation accurately
Maintain ambulance readiness and equipment
Safely operate emergency vehicles during day and night shifts

Physical Requirements:

Heavy Lifting Capacity: Must routinely lift and carry a minimum of 125 pounds unassisted, and up to 250+ pounds with a partner, to move patients and heavy equipment up stairs or across rough terrain.
Cardiovascular Endurance: Requires high stamina to sustain continuous, high-quality chest compressions for 20+ minutes and manage extreme physical output during multi-hour rescues or long 12-to-24-hour shifts.
Functional Agility and Mobility: Involves frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, and balancing to access and treat patients in highly confined or unstable spaces, such as inside crashed vehicles.
Precision Fine Motor Skills: Demands excellent manual dexterity to safely perform delicate, high-stakes procedures under stress, such as starting IV lines, intubating airways, and drawing up exact medication doses, depending on the scope of practive (i.e., Examples mentioned here are related mainly to paramedics).
Acute Sensory Perception: Must possess sharp vision to read medication labels and monitor vitals, alongside keen hearing to track blood pressure, listen to lung sounds, and communicate over chaotic scene noise.
Environmental and Shift Resilience: Requires the physical stamina to operate effectively in extreme weather (severe heat, cold, or rain), navigate hazardous scenes, and perform flawless medical care.

Pay: $11,102.00 - $12,036.00 per month
