Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance & Operations Manager to lead our financial management and operational functions. This pivotal role combines financial expertise with operational oversight to drive organizational efficiency, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to financial planning, risk management, and process optimization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and fiscal responsibility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the company's strategic direction while managing day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Lead the development and maintenance of financial models, projections, and data analytics tools to inform business growth initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and industry-specific regulations.
Manage corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment oversight, and risk assessment to safeguard assets.
Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies and ensure adherence to industry-specific financial regulations.
Drive process improvements in financial operations through automation and technical proficiency with accounting systems and software.
Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential vulnerabilities in financial processes and develop mitigation strategies.
Support strategic planning efforts by developing comprehensive financial projection models and conducting industry trend analysis.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on cost control measures, profit & loss management, revenue recognition (including ASC 606), and budget development.

Experience

Proven experience in finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or similar capacity with a strong background in financial management and strategic oversight.
Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations.
Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public accounting environments.
Strong skills in risk analysis, compliance management, regulatory reporting, and treasury operations.
Proficiency with financial software systems, Excel data analysis tools, and advanced technical accounting concepts including accrual accounting and revenue management.
Experience developing financial models for forecasting, investment analysis, cost control, and scenario planning.
Leadership experience managing finance teams with a focus on mentorship, performance management, and process optimization.
Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately while communicating insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with industry knowledge of financial markets, industry regulations, ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition, and cost management strategies.
