Full Job Description

We're a new, independent urgent care clinic on Stadium Way, targeting a late-September opening. Physician-owned, locally run, and staffed by people who live here.

THE JOB

We're the space between a regular doctor's appointment and the ER, which means you'd see a little of everything. Saturday sprains, Thursday afternoon fevers, work injuries, sports physicals, and a run on flu tests every January.

You'd be helping neighbors on a day that isn't going their way, on a small team where everyone pitches in.

Pay: $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials
Schedule: Full time and part time positions available, weekday and weekend
Benefits: Health care benefits, retirement with employer match, and paid time off for full time employees.
Paid certifications: for everyone.
Start: We're targeting a late-September opening, with training and prep in mid-September.

WHAT YOU'D DO

Room patients, take vitals and histories, and document in the EMR
Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready
Assist with procedures like laceration repair, splinting, abscess care, and foreign body removal
Give injections and vaccines, and run point-of-care testing
Work the front desk. Every medical assistant here is cross-trained on check-in, scheduling, and phones.
Take X-rays, once we register and train you
Draw blood and place TB tests (MA-C)
Support our occupational medicine program with DOT physicals, drug screens, and pre-employment exams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience as a medical assistant. We're opening a new clinic at full speed, so we're looking for people who have done this work before.
MA-C or MA-R. Washington certified and registered medical assistants are both welcome. If you have the experience but not a Washington credential yet, we can sponsor your registration.
Current BLS certification, or willingness to get one
Steady when it's busy, because urgent care comes in waves
We're hiring for both weekday and weekend schedules. The clinic is open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
Urgent care, emergency, or family medicine experience is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS WE PAY FOR

Washington medical assistant registration (MA-R), if you have the experience but no Washington credential, or your current one is tied to another employer.
Washington medical assistant phlebotomist credential (MA-P), so you can draw blood alongside your MA-R.
Washington limited scope X-ray technician registration, plus training on our equipment.
DOT specimen collector and breath alcohol technician certification for our occupational medicine program.

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
