Organic Social & Brand Growth Manager

Help build a fast-growing vintage jewelry brand through organic social media, storytelling, and content.

About MCJ2 Vintage

MCJ2 Vintage is a curated fine jewelry company specializing in vintage and contemporary gold jewelry. We’ve built our business almost entirely through organic social media, referrals, and exceptional client relationships.

This is an on-site position. The role involves filming new content, working directly with clients and collaborating closely with the founder.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build a brand—not simply manage social media.

A genuine passion for jewelry is essential. Whether your background is in vintage jewelry, fine jewelry, watches, luxury fashion, antiques, gemstones, or another collectible category, you should already enjoy learning about craftsmanship, design, history, and the stories behind exceptional pieces.

You don’t need to know everything about vintage jewelry on day one, but you do need to be genuinely fascinated by it and excited to learn. If jewelry is simply another product to market, this probably isn’t the right role.

The Opportunity

You’ll own our organic social media strategy from idea to execution while helping shape the future growth of MCJ2 Vintage.

You’ll work directly with the founder to create content, test new ideas, study the results, and continually improve how we tell our story online.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply execute someone else’s ideas. We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, sound judgment, and a desire to help shape the future of the brand.

Success isn’t measured by followers alone. It’s measured by growing our brand, strengthening client relationships, increasing appointments, driving online sales, and building long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social and Distribution Strategy

Own and execute our organic social media strategy.
Lead our expansion beyond Instagram by identifying the platforms with the greatest opportunity.
Transform a single content idea into platform-specific assets by adapting format, editing style, hooks, captions, and calls to action so each piece feels native to its platform while maintaining an efficient workflow.
Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging technologies, and consumer trends.

Content Creation

Own the content calendar.
Film and edit short-form content. Hire freelance editors if needed.
Write compelling hooks, captions, and calls to action.
Create content that educates, inspires, and sells.
Work with the founder to turn sourcing trips, client stories, styling appointments, and new inventory into engaging content.

Growth, Community & Analytics

Grow qualified audiences across multiple platforms.
Build relationships with clients through thoughtful community engagement.
Monitor analytics to understand what drives reach, engagement, website traffic, appointments, and sales.
Test content formats, hooks, posting strategies, and calls to action using a structured, data-driven approach.
Identify patterns, recommend improvements, and use analytics to answer questions and make better business decisions—not simply report social media metrics.

Website & Digital Support

Support product launches and digital merchandising.
Write SEO-conscious product descriptions and digital content.
Work comfortably within Shopify and collaborate with the team to improve the online customer experience.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has:

3+ years of experience leading organic social media for a consumer brand.
Excellent storytelling, writing, and short-form content creation skills.
Experience creating platform-specific content across multiple social channels.
Strong judgment backed by data and the ability to translate analytics into better content and business decisions.
Comfortable using AI tools to improve content creation and workflow.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
A genuine passion for jewelry is required.
Professional experience in vintage jewelry, fine jewelry, luxury goods, watches, fashion, antiques, or another collectible category is strongly preferred.
Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus but is not required.

You should be naturally curious and enjoy learning. Success in this role comes from asking questions, testing ideas, and continually improving—not assuming you already have all the answers.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you’ll help:

Expand MCJ2 Vintage beyond Instagram.
Grow qualified audiences and brand awareness.
Increase appointments and online sales.
Build scalable content systems.
Help establish MCJ2 Vintage as a leading voice in vintage jewelry.
