Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments while ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have experience in dog handling and a strong commitment to customer service.

Additionally, the overnight attendant role will ensure a safe and quiet environment for dogs staying the night so they can recharge for their next exciting day. The overnight attendant has an exciting opportunity to establish meaningful bonds while earning additional income and getting a bit of sleep.

Duties

Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
Monitor the behavior of dogs and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts.
Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including cleaning up after the dogs.
Administer basic care such as feeding, watering, and providing medication as needed.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for both dogs and staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in dog handling or pet care is preferred.
Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
Knowledge of animal restraint techniques is a plus.
Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is beneficial.
Familiarity with kennel operations is advantageous.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Must be physically capable of lifting and handling dogs of various sizes.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.
