Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep / Chef / Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that dishes are spotless, ingredients are prepped efficiently, and food safety standards are upheld. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to menu specifications.
Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours.
Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste appropriately.
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Support catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients or assisting with setup as needed.

Requirements

Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required.
Experience working in restaurants or food service environments is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and catering support is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
