Sales & Membership Manager (Boutique Yoga Studio)
Role Overview
We’re seeking a results-driven Sales & Membership Manager to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for our boutique yoga studio. This role blends relationship-building, sales execution, and community engagement. You’ll be responsible for converting leads into committed members, delivering an exceptional first experience, and driving consistent monthly revenue.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on hitting targets, following up relentlessly, and creating a welcoming, inclusive, high-converting studio environment to support the studio’s mission of promoting wellness and mindful living. They must have a passion for sales & customer service, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team leader who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Management & Sales Execution
- Respond to all new leads (calls, texts, DMs, email inquiries) within 5 minutes during business hours
- Proactively manage 30–50 new leads per week including intro offers, walk-ins, and trials
- Conduct consistent follow-up (100–150 touches per week) to nurture prospects
- Ensure every lead receives 6–8 follow-ups over a 10-day period
- Book prospects into intro classes and consultations (1–3+ daily)
Conversion & Membership Growth
- Convert 40–60% of leads into intro offers
- Convert 25–40% of intro participants into memberships
- Guide prospects through a clear, confident sales process with strong closing discipline
- Maintain a high show-up rate (80%+) for booked intro sessions
- Avoid discounting without approval and ensure every conversation ends with a next step
Client Experience & Retention
- Deliver a warm, high-touch onboarding experience for all new clients
- Support strong 30-day retention and minimize early churn (<15%)
- Build relationships that turn first-time visitors into long-term members
- Maintain a deep understanding of class offerings, teacher styles, and the overall studio culture to personalize recommendations
Events & Community Growth
- Plan and host workshops, events, and special offers to generate leads and drive sales
- Collaborate with instructors and studio leadership to create compelling promotions
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain clean, organized pipeline tracking—every lead has a documented next step
- Share weekly performance metrics:
- Intro → membership conversion rate
- 30-day retention rate
- Monitor KPIs daily and adjust outreach strategy as needed
Daily Activity Expectations
- 10–20 outbound follow-ups
- 5–10 new leads contacted
- 1–3+ sales conversations booked
- 100% of new leads responded to same day
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in sales, fitness, wellness, or boutique studio environments
- Highly responsive and organized with strong follow-up discipline
- Confident communicator who can lead conversations and close sales
- Passionate about yoga, health, wellness, and community-building
- Comfortable working toward clear KPIs and revenue goals
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including adjusting for high traffic times which can be evenings and weekends depending on the week
- Self-motivated and energized by a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Able to lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets by sharing different sales techniques and customer service best practices

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales & Management Experience
- 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in sales
- Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
- Proven experience in generating and following up on leads
- Communication & People Skills
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
- Passion for yoga, wellness, and community engagement
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
- Ability to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may voice frustrations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods.
- May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

- This position offers a competitive Base Salary based on experience with Opportunity to earn Monthly Commission based on performance
