We are looking for long term caregivers who will get to know our client's pets and bond with them so this is not seasonal work. Also, we are only interviewing those that live in one of the following zip codes: 27608, 27609, 27612, 27613 and 27615.

Competitive Compensation
- The range is between $300-$800+/mo with hourly compensation averaging $16.50-22.50+ per hour, depending on individual client needs. Amount earned is dependent upon your availability and pet care skills (ie can care for cats and dogs).

What You’ll Do:
Dog Walking:
- Travel to client's home to take dog(s) out for a walk or playtime in yard with most visits being 30 minutes. Loads of love and pampering!
- Appropriately hand dog(s) ensuring safety at all times.
- Proper pet waste pick-up and disposal, refresh water and give treat/feed meal if requested.
- Send a professional visit note and pet pictures of the fun pups had with you!
Pet Sitting: In addition to what we do for dog walking, we provide the following for our clients traveling out of town.
- For cats, we play with/engage with them as they enjoy. Many love to play with toys, be brushed, pet and pampered! Ensure their safety at all times.
- Scoop litter boxes
- Provide medication if required.
- Light house sitting: Trash day service, bringing in mail and packages, rotating lights and blinds, watering a few house plants.
Who You Are:
- You MUST live IN one of the following zip codes: 27609, 27612, 27613 and 27615. (See end of job post for Applicant Important Details prior to applying).
- Huge animal lover with recent experience with dogs, whether volunteer, professional, or with personal pets. Cat experience a plus!
- Extremely reliable, mature, honest to a fault, trustworthy, compassionate with a strong work ethic and genuine love and concern for animal well-being.
- Excellent time management skills, detail-oriented with a natural drive to go the extra mile and provide first-class care.
- Prompt and professional communication (oral and written).
- 21 yrs or older, capable of doing 20-50 minute walks, bending, stooping and lifting.
- Have a reliable personally owned vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Have a smart phone to use our pet sitting app.
- Positive upbeat attitude and enjoys an independent work environment.

- This is a part time, year-round position and NOT summer/seasonal work. Are you able to commit to this position for upwards to 12 months?
- Our peak visit times are 7-9am, 10am-3pm, 4-7pm and 8-9:30pm, Mon-Sun. List the days and times you are available to work on a consistent basis.
- Are you interested in overnight pet care (from 9pm to 7am) at our client's clean, comfortable, non-smoking homes about 0-5 times a month? It is not a requirement.
- Pet sitting (travel care) has a greater demand during spring, summer and all major holidays. Will you have part time availability during these times?
- Do you have a valid driver's license, personally owned and reliable car you have anytime access to and current auto insurance in your name? This is a requirement.
- Do you have a reliable smartphone with unlimited data, GPS, camera, video, text and email with the ability to download and use our pet sitting software app while caring for pets?
- The compensation range is between $300-800+ a month depending on your availability and skill level. Please confirm this is the range you are hoping to earn.
- Tell us about recent professional (paid) or volunteer pet care experience you have with dogs and cats. What draws you to be around animals?
- Tell us about your current/most recent pet that you are/were wholly responsible for its daily care and expenses. What do you enjoy most about being a pet parent?
- If considered for this position, you'll need to provide proof you are at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license and currently insured vehicle. We will run a criminal background check and contact your professional references. We may need to contact you via phone, text, email and possibly by Zoom virtual meetings.
