Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination of warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and inventory management. Your proactive approach will drive process improvements, optimize freight and shipping logistics, and strengthen vendor relationships to support our company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities

Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Manage transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors through sourcing, procurement, negotiation, and vendor management to secure optimal pricing and service levels.
Conduct data collection and analysis using Excel data analysis tools, SQL queries, and supply chain analytics to identify trends and root causes for process improvements.
Oversee freight operations including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) arrangements, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers, and international trade compliance.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems while supporting demand planning and production scheduling.
Facilitate cross-functional communication across procurement, logistics, customer service, and warehouse operations teams to ensure efficient supply chain management.

Requirements

Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with strong understanding of warehouse experience, inventory management systems, and logistics processes.
Proficiency in data analysis skills including Excel spreadsheets, SQL querying, and ERP systems such as AS400 or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory control practices.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance procedures, and freight/shipping logistics.
Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers while managing procurement activities.
Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis and category management strategies.
Valid forklift experience with manual handling equipment is preferred.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer service excellence.
