首席顾问是负责学生学业与升学规划的核心负责人。该职位负责全面监督学生的学术方向、转学/升学路径以及关键决策，以确保每位学生都拥有一份清晰、可执行且具备长期成效的教育规划方案。此岗位需要极高的专业判断力、问责意识与责任感。我们非常重视系统性思维、风险评估以及学生的长期发展成果。
岗位职责
学生综合评估： 对学生的学术背景（包括 GPA、已修课程、学术能力、兴趣及个人特长）进行深入评估，以确定最适合其发展的规划路径。
学生定位与规划会议： 主导与学生的战略规划会议，明确学术目标，并针对专业和院校选择（涵盖 UC 加州大学、CSU 加州州立大学及私立大学系统）提供结构清晰、切合实际的建议。
长期学术与课程规划： 设计与学生目标相匹配的全面学术规划，包括 IGETC（通用下部课程衔接通识教育标准）、专业前置课程以及转学/升学要求。
持续性学术进度监控： 定期追踪学生的学业进展，监控成绩趋势，及时发现潜在风险并提供调整建议。
核心与复杂问题解决： 针对科研、实习、竞赛、志愿者经历及其他背景提升项目提供策略与建议，以增强学生的综合竞争力。
最终决策权： 作为学生升学策略的最终决策者，并负责处理复杂或高风险的案例。 任职要求 具备至少 4 年的美国留学/在美学习经历。 精通中英双语（流利的口语表达与书面写作能力）。
注重细节、有责任心、逻辑清晰且组织能力强。 能够与学生及家长进行专业、理性的沟通。 具备强大的调研能力与问题解决能力。 抗压能力强，能够同时管理多位学生。
立志在教育咨询行业寻求长期发展。
优先条件（加分项）：
具备 1 年以上教育咨询、学术支持或相关领域的工作经验者优先。
熟悉美国转学与升学系统（UC / CSU / 私立大学）者优先。
拥有荣誉项目（Honors programs）、STEM（理工科）或学术科研项目背景者优先。

Position Overview
The Lead Academic Consultant serves as the primary advisor responsible for overseeing students’ academic and transfer planning. This role involves supervising students’ educational pathways, transfer strategies, and key academic decisions to ensure that each student receives a clear, actionable, and results-oriented educational plan. The position requires strong professional judgment, accountability, and a high level of responsibility. We highly value systematic thinking, risk assessment, and a commitment to students’ long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Student Assessment
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of students' academic backgrounds, including GPA, completed coursework, academic strengths, interests, and extracurricular achievements.
- Identify the most suitable educational and transfer pathways based on each student's individual profile.
Academic Planning & Strategy Meetings
- Lead strategic advising sessions with students and families.
- Establish academic goals and provide structured, realistic guidance regarding major selection and university planning, including UC, CSU, and private university systems.
Long-Term Academic & Course Planning
- Develop comprehensive academic plans aligned with students' educational objectives.
- Ensure proper completion of IGETC requirements, major preparation coursework, and transfer admission requirements.
Ongoing Academic Progress Monitoring
- Regularly monitor students' academic performance and progress.
- Identify potential risks, track grade trends, and recommend timely adjustments when necessary.
Complex Case Management & Problem Solving
- Provide strategic guidance on research opportunities, internships, competitions, volunteer experiences, and other profile-building activities.
- Enhance students' overall competitiveness for transfer and university admissions.
Final Decision-Making Authority
- Serve as the final decision-maker for student academic and transfer strategies.
- Handle complex, sensitive, or high-risk advising cases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of study experience in the United States.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly responsible, organized, and analytical.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with both students and parents.
- Strong research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple students simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Interested in building a long-term career in the educational consulting industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in educational consulting, academic advising, student support, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the U.S. transfer and admissions systems, particularly UC, CSU, and private universities.
- Background in Honors Programs, STEM disciplines, or academic research projects.
- Prior experience working with community college transfer students is highly preferred.
