WE Mortgage Is Hiring – Lock Desk / Secondary Marketing Operations

WE Mortgage is expanding our mortgage operations team and is currently hiring professionals at multiple levels for our Lock Desk / Secondary Marketing Operations team.

Open Positions:

Senior Lock Desk Specialist / Analyst
Lock Desk Specialist
Junior Lock Desk Analyst
Lock Desk Assistant

Our Lock Desk team is responsible for supporting accurate and timely loan pricing and rate-lock administration while working closely with Sales, Operations, Underwriting, Funding, and Secondary Marketing.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Process and validate mortgage rate-lock requests
Review loan pricing, adjustments, and lock terms for accuracy
Issue and maintain rate-lock confirmations
Process lock extensions, relocks, cancellations, and other lock changes
Monitor lock expiration dates and outstanding lock-related items
Review loan changes that may affect pricing or lock eligibility
Maintain accurate lock information in the LOS and pricing systems
Coordinate pricing questions and exceptions with appropriate management
Communicate with Account Executives, brokers, and internal operations teams
Monitor locked-loan pipelines and upcoming expirations
Assist with investor pricing and product guideline updates
Support Secondary Marketing with pipeline and lock-related reporting
Help ensure compliance with company lock policies and procedures

Senior / Experienced Lock Desk Candidates:
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in wholesale/TPO mortgage pricing, rate locks, extensions, relocks, pricing adjustments, product eligibility, and lock pipeline management.

Junior Lock Desk Candidates:
Candidates should have a good understanding of residential mortgage operations and an interest in developing expertise in mortgage pricing, products, rate-lock administration, and secondary marketing.

Lock Desk Assistants:
Responsibilities may include processing routine lock requests, monitoring expiration dates, preparing lock confirmations, updating the LOS and pricing systems, maintaining lock records, and assisting senior team members with pipeline follow-up.

Manager / Team Lead Candidates:
We are seeking experienced Lock Desk professionals who can oversee daily lock operations, establish consistent procedures, manage turn times and pricing exceptions, supervise and develop staff, monitor pipeline exposure, and coordinate closely with management and Secondary Marketing.

Qualifications:

Residential mortgage experience appropriate to the position
Wholesale/TPO mortgage lending experience highly desirable
Lock Desk, Secondary Marketing, mortgage pricing, or related operations experience preferred
Familiarity with LOS and Product & Pricing Engine (PPE) systems
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive production environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience requirements will vary by position. We welcome both experienced Lock Desk professionals and mortgage operations candidates interested in developing their careers in pricing and Secondary Marketing.
