About Homy Casa
Homy Casa is a furniture brand and e-commerce retailer focused primarily on the U.S. market. Our furniture products are sold nationwide through major online retail platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair, as well as our own Homy Casa online store.
While our business is primarily online, we also operate a physical showroom in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Unlike a traditional furniture store, our showroom serves as an offline experience space for products that we sell online. Local customers can visit the showroom to see, touch, and experience selected Homy Casa products before making a purchase.
The showroom also serves another important purpose: it is one of our primary spaces for creating product photos, videos, demonstrations, and social media content.
We are now looking for a creative, outgoing, and responsible team member who can help bring Homy Casa products to life through social media.
About the Position
This is primarily a social media content creation position, with additional responsibilities related to our showroom and local online sales channels.
The most important part of this role is creating engaging content around Homy Casa furniture products. You will work directly with our products in the showroom, develop ideas for content, film short-form videos, demonstrate furniture features, and regularly appear on camera.
Our primary social media platforms include TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
This is a full-time, in-person position. It is not a remote social media position. Our showroom and furniture products provide the environment and materials for much of the content you will create.
Social Media Content Creation
Social media content creation is a major focus of this position.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating short-form videos featuring Homy Casa furniture and showroom products
- Regularly appearing on camera to introduce, demonstrate, and recommend products
- Developing simple and creative ideas for product-focused videos
- Filming content using a smartphone or other basic recording equipment
- Performing basic video editing and preparing content for publication
- Taking product, lifestyle, and showroom photos when needed
- Creating and publishing content for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Helping develop different ways to present furniture products in an interesting, natural, and engaging way
- Supporting promotional, new-product, seasonal, and other brand-related content
- Learning from content performance and helping us continuously improve our social media presence
Regular on-camera appearance is an essential part of this position. Candidates must be comfortable speaking and presenting products naturally in front of a camera.
Professional acting, photography, or video-production experience is not required. We care more about creativity, personality, communication skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to consistently create useful and engaging content.
Showroom & Customer Support
Because this position is based at our Rancho Cucamonga showroom, the team member will also assist with basic showroom operations.
When customers visit, responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Introducing and recommending Homy Casa products
- Answering basic product and pricing questions
- Helping customers with purchases or product pickup
- Keeping the showroom and product displays organized and presentable
- Moving, arranging, or assisting with simple assembly of display furniture when needed
- Supporting other reasonable day-to-day showroom needs
Customer traffic at the showroom may vary. When there are no customers requiring assistance, social media content creation and online marketplace activities will remain an important part of the regular workday.
OfferUp & Facebook Marketplace
Homy Casa also uses local online marketplaces to connect with customers and generate local sales.
This position may assist with:
- Responding to customer inquiries on OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace
- Answering product questions
- Following up with interested customers
- Assisting with product listings and basic listing maintenance
- Helping convert online inquiries into showroom visits, pickups, or sales
- Communicating professionally and promptly with potential customers
These channels are an important connection between our online presence and our Southern California showroom.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is comfortable combining creativity, communication, and hands-on showroom work.
The ideal candidate:
- Is comfortable and confident appearing regularly on camera
- Enjoys creating short-form video and social media content
- Is familiar with TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or similar platforms
- Can communicate naturally and clearly when presenting a product
- Has basic smartphone filming and video-editing skills
- Is creative and willing to experiment with new content ideas
- Is comfortable communicating with customers both in person and online
- Is responsible, dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Is willing to learn about furniture products and how to present their features and benefits
- Is comfortable with basic physical showroom activities, including moving, arranging, or assisting with furniture displays
- Is interested in a stable, full-time, in-person position
Previous experience in social media content creation, short-form video, retail, e-commerce, customer service, furniture, OfferUp, or Facebook Marketplace is helpful, but we do not expect one candidate to have experience in every area.
A Different Kind of Retail & Content Position
This is not a traditional retail position where most of the day is spent waiting for walk-in customers, and it is not a remote social media position where content is created entirely from behind a computer.
Homy Casa is primarily an online furniture business, and our Rancho Cucamonga showroom connects our online products with a real-world customer experience.
The showroom is both a place for customers to experience Homy Casa products and a creative space for producing content about those products.
When customers are present, you will help provide a friendly and professional Homy Casa experience. When customer assistance is not needed, you will focus on creating social media content, presenting products, communicating with online customers, and helping us build greater awareness and traffic for the Homy Casa brand.
