Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner. We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive human resources support across multiple healthcare practices. This is a fully remote role but the employee will need to live in North Carolina and be able to commute to the Raleigh, NC area occasionally for engagement or meetings. This is a highly hands-on, “one-stop-shop” HR role responsible for partnering with practice leaders and employees to address a broad range of HR needs, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate is a confident, solutions-oriented HR professional who can make quick, thoughtful decisions, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This person will serve as a trusted HR resource to multiple practices and should be comfortable working independently while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR resource and business partner for multiple healthcare practices.
- Build strong relationships with practice leaders, managers, and employees to understand business needs and provide practical HR solutions.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee-related issues, policies, performance, and workplace concerns.
- Make sound, timely decisions while balancing employee needs, business objectives, and company policies.
- Proactively identify HR issues and recommend solutions before they become larger concerns.
Employee Relations
- Manage and resolve employee relations matters, including performance issues, attendance, workplace concerns, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Coach managers on effective communication, documentation, and performance management.
- Conduct investigations and maintain appropriate documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Help foster a positive, professional, and engaged workplace culture.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Oversee and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees across multiple practices.
- Ensure new hires complete required documentation, training, and benefits enrollment.
- Partner with managers to ensure a smooth and positive new-hire experience.
- Coordinate employee offboarding, including documentation, benefits information, and exit processes.
Benefits Administration
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to employees regarding benefit programs, eligibility, enrollment, and changes.
- Assist with benefit administration and employee questions throughout the year.
- Partner with internal teams and benefit providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate administration.
HR Compliance
- Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Assist with audits, compliance reporting, required documentation, and policy implementation.
- Stay current on employment regulations and proactively communicate relevant changes to leadership.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate HR data and employee information within HRIS and related systems.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze HR data, identify trends, create reports, and support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain HR documentation, processes, procedures, and communications.
- Support HR projects and initiatives across multiple practices.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.
Project Management
- Lead and support HR projects from planning through completion.
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and priorities using project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Partner cross-functionally to implement process improvements and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and employment compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs/PivotTables
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Experience with Employee Navigator preferred.
- Experience using project management tools; Monday.com preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong judgment and the ability to make timely, thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- PHR certification preferred.
