Full Job Description

LIVIA is a fantastic Nursing Home with a new, bright, beautiful building. We are looking for a Porter to help keep our building clean.

This position is 3 shifts a week. We need someone who is available every weekend; one weekend 7am-3pm and the other weekend 7am-3pm.

You must be hard worker. Our building MUST be cleaned properly every day to keep our residents from infection and sickness.

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Assist with floor care duties, such as buffing and waxing floors
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as assigned
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
