Full Job Description

We are accepting resumes for a full-time Quality Control HPLC Chemist-We are looking for one more person to fill out our team, this person would preferably have a minimum of 3-4 years on the job experience with LCMS and HPLC. Would prefer Waters/Empower/Target Lynx background, but its not a critical need.

Knowledge on how to set up new methods and validation strategies with new instruments. A background in Quality Assurance would be ideal, with the ability to work on and troubleshoot equipment and methods. Job includes daily sample prep, setting up and troubleshooting instruments, plus lab cleaning protocols, helping with dishes, reviewing and updating SOPs, ISO certification, or other duties as assigned by supervisor. Someone who learns quickly and has a love for analytical work and instrumentation.

The shift would be full-time, Mon-Fri, with some overtime needed on occasion. This is a bench position with added responsibilities that include helping team mates maintain the Quality management system for ISO17025 certifications, troubleshooting equipment, and new method development, or old method validation. Must be able to multi task. Ability to handle stressful, time sensitive analytical work and assignments is important in this position. Pay is $21-$28/hr. DOE-Preference given to someone with actual bench experience. The lab is located in Ravalli, just north of Arlee.

A small relocation stipend of $1500 might be offered, but would require 2 year contract. Prefer applicant that lives in the area or be willing to move on their own. There is a decent 3 bedroom/2 bath home that is available to rent in the area at a small reduction of rate for rent to employees (no pets/smoking).

Passing a background check will be required.
