JOB REQUIREMENTS
Systems: Ability to operate computers for data input and retrieval; proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and web browsers (Internet Explorer and Google Chrome), knowledge of CRIS-E, OIES, SACWIS, ODAPS, OWCMS, SETS, CFIS, MUNIS, MITS, BUY-IN, eGateway, eQuil, CCIDS, OCLQS, Time Force, Agency’s Digital Imaging systems and other systems as required by program area responsibility.
Equipment: Incumbent operates equipment such as, but not limited to, the following: personal computer, printer, calculator, multi-functional copier, fax machine, shredder, cell phone, camera, and children’s car seats.

Job Standards: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Development or another social service field required. Paid experience providing services to children and/or to persons 60 years of age or older preferred. Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and maintain continuing eligibility under the existing County driver eligibility standards.
**Educational standards under Ohio Administrative Code 5101:2-33-55 - New hire or current employee that does not meet the above educational requirements shall obtain a human services bachelor’s degree no later than five years after the date of employment with the agency. Employer will inform the PCSA caseworker of the educational requirements for continued employment.
Portage JFS Internal Employees
Portage JFS employees who do not meet the education recommendations at time of application but have passed probation in their current position, do not have an active performance improvement plan or discipline action on file within the last 12 months of employment and have experience working with individuals or family systems may apply, interview and be considered for this position. Internal JFS employees would be required to complete the mandated educational requirements as stated above. JFS management will assign internal employee approved mandatory training to support the mandates of the position.
