Line Cook LUNA - Moreland Hills
● Prepare menu items according to recipes
● Check in deliveries and put away
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
● Knowledgeable about all menu items, including allergy information
● Comfortable standing, lifting and bending for duration of a 6-8 hour shift
● Maintain stock & storage and labeling of all food items
● Follows opening, closing and other procedural checklists correctly
● Responsible for quality assurance of food
● Maintain all health, safety, and sanitation standards in the cafe and kitchen
● Assist in executing catering orders
● Directly report to Manager, Kitchen Manager and Supervisors
● Recognize and communicate errors or potential quality problems to Manager
● Notify Manager of any maintenance or equipment issues
● Arrives on time ready to work (in dress code) for all shifts and meetings
● Be passionate about real food, scratch pastry and coffee
● Problem solver & strong communication skills
● A dynamic person - friendly with high energy level
● Be coachable– actively looking for feedback to grow and improve
