P3SG is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Licensed Dietitian/Registered Dietitian to lead our Dietary Department within a growing Acute Care Hospital setting.
This is not simply a food service management position. We are seeking a clinical and operational leader who can oversee dietary services while supporting patient nutrition assessments, therapeutic diet planning, nutrition care plans, and interdisciplinary patient care initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating patient nutritional needs and managing therapeutic diets such as diabetic, cardiac, renal, and physician-ordered nutrition plans.
Compensation & Benefits
- $27.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience and credentials, potential more based on degrees/licenses.

Why This Opportunity?
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced dietary professional to step into a key leadership role within our Acute Care Hospital. You will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality nutritional support while maintaining excellence in departmental operations, regulatory compliance, food safety, and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all Dietary Department operations
- Supervise, mentor, and develop dietary staff
- Manage departmental budgets and purchasing activities
- Participate in menu planning and therapeutic diet development
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations
- Oversee food production, quality, sanitation, and meal service
- Determine patient dietary needs and nutritional requirements
- Conduct and review nutrition assessments
- Develop and monitor patient nutrition care plans
- Manage therapeutic diets, including diabetic, cardiac, renal, and physician-prescribed diets
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain food safety and HACCP standards throughout the department
Required Qualifications
Option 1: Certified Dietary Manager
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP)
- Continuing education requirements maintained
- Minimum 2-4 years of management experience
- Strong background in nutrition services
- Experience conducting nutrition assessments and care planning
- Hospital dietary management experience preferred
Option 2: Dietitian
- Licensed Dietitian, Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Continuing education requirements maintained
- Experience conducting patient nutrition assessments
- Experience developing therapeutic diet plans
- Healthcare or Acute Care Hospital experience preferred

- Acute Care Hospital experience
- Critical Access Hospital experience
- Clinical nutrition background
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience
- Long-Term Care experience
- Rehabilitation Facility experience
- Regulatory survey experience
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
