Overview

Join our dynamic automotive sales team as an Automotive Sales Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales success. In this energetic role, you will oversee the entire sales process, manage a high-performing team, and foster strong relationships with clients. Your expertise in automotive industry sales, B2B strategies, and customer relationship management will be vital to achieving our dealership’s growth objectives. We are committed to empowering our managers with the tools and support needed to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans focusing on passenger car sales, high-end vehicles, and automotive financing options.
Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closing, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Build and maintain strong client relationships via outbound calls, B2B outreach, and personalized customer service.
Conduct negotiations with customers to secure favorable deals while maintaining dealership profitability.
Oversee inventory management, inventory control, and retail math to optimize stock levels and sales opportunities.
Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow-up activities, and sales performance metrics.
Support marketing initiatives by participating in public speaking engagements, promotional events, and community outreach efforts.
Ensure compliance with all automotive industry regulations, including automotive financing options and dealership policies.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication skills, organizational skills, and leadership in sales team management.

Skills

Proven experience in automotive industry sales with a focus on passenger cars and high-end vehicles.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals efficiently while upselling additional products or services.
Exceptional customer relationship building skills supported by experience with CRM systems (technically supported).
Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette, client communication, and public speaking abilities.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through outbound sales, cold calling, and retail math proficiency.
Knowledge of automotive financing options and inventory management practices.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
Experience in sales management or team leadership within a dealership or retail environment.
Organizational skills that enable effective management of a busy sales pipeline and inventory control processes.
Outbound sales expertise combined with retail sales experience to maximize deal closing potential.
