Job Title: Bartender / Server

Location: CRUSH – Prairie Highlands Golf Course, Olathe, Kansas

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

About Us: CRUSH is a vibrant new bar and grill located on the picturesque Prairie Highlands Golf Course. We’re dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience with a blend of delicious food, refreshing beverages, and stunning views. Our team is passionate about hospitality and committed to making each visit memorable for our guests.

Job Summary: As a Server at CRUSH, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering outstanding service to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet guests with a friendly demeanor, provide menu recommendations, and answer any questions about menu items and specials.
Order Management: Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using our point-of-sale system.
Service Execution: Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure that all orders are delivered as requested.
Table Maintenance: Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or additional needs.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized service area, including tables, floor, and beverage stations.
Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages, to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Payment Processing: Accurately process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and return change or receipts to guests.
Special Events: Assist with set-up, service, and clean-up during special events or tournaments hosted at the golf course.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous serving experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
