Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Deli/Catering Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of our deli and catering departments to deliver exceptional food experiences. In this energetic role, you'll oversee food preparation, manage staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain efficient food and inventory management systems. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to quality, safety, and hospitality, creating a vibrant environment that delights our customers and supports our store’s success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and management skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise the deli and partner with the catering team to ensure smooth daily operations, including shift management and staff scheduling.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring all products meet quality standards and safety regulations.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Train staff on food safety procedures, customer service excellence, and proper food handling techniques to promote a safe and welcoming environment.
Coordinate catering orders from start to finish, including planning menus, preparing food items, and ensuring timely delivery or pickup.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere focused on hospitality excellence.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training & development, and interviewing skills.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse client needs in a hospitality setting.
Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, budgeting, and food production processes.
Previous experience in restaurant management or catering roles is highly desirable; hotel or banquet experience is a plus.
