Overview: Facility/Property Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of building systems, will be detail oriented and organized, and will be capable of performing routine inspections to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, documenting inspections, and coordinating maintenance activities. The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Duties

Oversee daily operations to ensure optimal condition of all assets
Handle tenant relations with professionalism, addressing concerns promptly and effectively
Prepare and review contracts related to property management and vendor services
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance

Experience

Proven experience in property management, preferably a minimum of 5 years
Excellent tenant service skills with professional phone/email etiquette and conflict management abilities
Office experience including data entry, filing systems, contracts management, and general administrative tasks
Facilities management experience is vital for coordinating maintenance activities effectively with minimal exposure to tenants
Prior experience with tenant improvement projects is a plus

This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are valued. The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of property operations while fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors.
