Full Job Description

Position Title: Enrolled Agent (EA)

Position Summary:

The Enrolled Agent is responsible for tax preparation, tax representation, meeting with clients, and managing client inquiries. This position will play a vital role in our company ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting.

Position Reports to: Partners

Location: 226 S Reading Road, Ephrata, PA 17522

What We Offer:

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

* Tax return preparing, reviewing and assembling.

* Bookkeeping in QuickBooks

* Contacting the IRS for client transcripts, notices and general representation.

* Tax research

* Ability to work overtime during tax season.

* In-person and virtual client meetings

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred or related experience, and an active EA Certification with IRS PTIN.

* Minimum of 2+ years' experience in the tax profession required, 5 years' experience preferred

* Analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience using and creating spreadsheets and formulas.

* Knowledge of tax and accounting concepts.

* Ability to multi-task.

* Strong computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and accounting software.

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

* Valid driver's license
