Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center

Location: US:PA:Reading
Work Type: PRN
FTE: 0.001
Shift: Varied
Evening Shift Differential:$2.00/hour
Hours: 3:00p-11:00p

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs activities related to transportation of patients to and from diagnostic testing, room-to-room transfers, discharge, and admission as directed by nursing and ancillary departments. Serves the customer in the facility such as: patients, ancillary departments and nursing units.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support certification required or must receive certification within three (3) months of start date.
Obtain AHA BLS certification by the end of orientation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Patient experience preferred.
