Title: Alumni and Parent Engagement Coordinator

Department: Advancement

Reports to: Chief of Advancement and External Relations

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Xaverian is an independent Catholic school for boys in grades 7-12, sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers. Located in Westwood, Massachusetts, this college-prep school welcomes students from approximately 90 communities across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Xaverian was established in 1963 and presently enrolls over 960 students.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
Xaverian is seeking applications for a full-time, year-round Alumni and Parent Engagement Coordinator. This position supports alumni, parent, and community engagement efforts through event planning, constituent outreach, annual giving collaboration, and engagement initiatives. This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in advancement, fundraising, alumni relations, event management, and constituent engagement. The successful candidate will gain broad experience across multiple areas of school advancement while working closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Alumni and Parent Engagement

Coordinate outreach and engagement efforts across alumni class years and geographic regions.
Support reunion planning and alumni participation initiatives.
Assist with volunteer engagement efforts.
Collaborate with the communications team to promote alumni and parent engagement opportunities.
Generate and edit content for alumni e-newsletters and class notes.
Partner with the Principal on the management of the Parents’ Council.

Annual Fund Support

Partner with the Director of Annual Giving and Prospect Management on annual participation initiatives.
Support outreach related to reunion giving, Day of Giving Back, and annual appeals.
Assist with engagement strategies that strengthen donor participation and retention.
Event Collaboration
Support the Event Coordinator with alumni and parent engagement events.
Assist with event logistics, attendance tracking, and constituent follow-up.
Coordinate post-event communications and outreach efforts.
Constituent Management and Administrative Support
Maintain alumni and parent engagement records in Raiser’s Edge.
Assist with constituent updates and engagement tracking.
Support regional outreach and communication initiatives.
Coordinate requests for alumni and community speakers at school events and programs.
Participate in advancement events and programs, including occasional evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar constituent management systems preferred.
Commitment to relationship-building and constituent engagement.
Availability for occasional nights and weekend events.
Ability to set up and break down events.
