Smash Bros is a new fast casual, smash burger restaurant opening up in the heart of Shasta Lake City! Along with our regular smash burgers we will also feature signature burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, tenders, loaded fries and more! We are looking forward to hiring a staff that enjoys a fast paced environment and serving a fantastic product to our community in a fun and respectful environment.

Starting pay is $16.90 plus tips (est. $3-4/hour more)

Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook specializing in Smash Bros! Duties

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing meals
Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to promote safety and hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience working as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly preferred
Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling across various cuisines
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services enhances your suitability for this role
Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques are essential for success
Background in fine dining or restaurant settings will help you excel in delivering top-tier food service
A solid understanding of food safety protocols and kitchen operations is required to maintain high standards
