Our work is meaningful, fast-paced, and people-centered. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive Finance Manager to join our corporate Finance team and help support the systems that keep our services running smoothly.
Position Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department. This role reports directly to the CFO and works closely with finance team members, leadership, and outside accounting partners to ensure accurate, timely, and organized financial operations.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, trustworthy, comfortable with numbers and systems, and interested in supporting a mission-driven organization that impacts people’s lives every day.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Finance Department
- Support payroll administration, client billing, expense management, accounts payable, and general accounting functions
- Supervise and support finance department team members, including bookkeeping and administrative finance tasks
- Work closely with the CFO to develop and improve financial systems, processes, data tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with outside accounting partners to support timely and accurate financial records
- Assist with insurance, underwriting processes, and compliance-related finance tasks
- Help coordinate the flow of mail, trust funds, and financial documentation between facilities, banks, and the corporate office
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial, employee, and client-related information
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and consistency in financial records and internal processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, billing, data management, or a related field
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and data management
- Proficiency with Excel, financial software, and related systems or integrations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise, support, and guide team members with professionalism and compassion
- A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and desire to grow within the role

- Familiarity with nonprofit, human services, caregiving, or healthcare-related organizations preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality best practices preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
